Why I’m using Linux (Video)

I got asked a few times why I’m using a Linux distribution, and “why my setup looks that weird”. I’ve recorded a video in which I wanted to show my main motivations.

 

 

My main motivations are:

  • The distro that I’m using doesn’t do anything unless I tell it to

  • Ability to use docker natively

  • Effective tiling window managers available

  • Any action is possible using the command line & automation scripts
